The Panthers come into Sunday's dual meet with a spot in third place in the ACC standings with a conference record of 1-4 and an overall record of 3-6. The team has dropped its last two meets with the most recent being a 196.650-196.125 loss to UNC on the road. Jordyn Ewing led the Panthers on bars with a 9.850 and Jah'Liyah Bedminster earned a second place finish on vault with a 9.850 and led the Panthers on floor with a 9.900. Reyna Garvey and Hallie Copperwheat both scored 9.850s to earn a share of the event title on floor. Despite the strong performances, the team still came up short against the Tar Heels.

The Wolfpack are leading the ACC standings with a perfect conference record of 5-0 and an overall record of 5-4. The team has won five straight meets including a 197.575-196.000 win over Clemson its last time out. Emily Shepard made history with the school's highest all-around score ever recorded with a 39.750. Shepard led on vault with a 9.900, on bars with a 9.975 and beam with a 9.950. Chloe Negrete led on floor for the Wolfpack with a 9.950 in the anchor position. 

NC State and Pitt met last month in ACC competition and the Wolfpack earned a 196.500-194.100 win at home.
